Saudi Arabian Oil Company ("Saudi Aramco"), is a Saudi joint stock company established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by virtue of Royal Decree No. M/8, dated 4/4/1409H (corresponding 13/11/1988G) with fully paid capital of SAR 90,000,000,000 and registered in the city of Dhahran under commercial registration no 2052101150. Saudi Aramco owns and operates this website (www.tecShift.com) and related mobile applications (collectively referred to as "Site"). Before using this Site, please read these terms carefully. By using this Site, you signify your agreement to these terms of use. 
 
If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use this Site or any of the affiliated mobile applications. This includes downloading and installing on your device. Saudi Aramco may modify these terms of use, as it deems necessary, at any time and without notice. Please ensure that you familiarize yourself with these terms and check back regularly for any updates. Us, Aramco Group or “Saudi Aramco Group” refers to Saudi Aramco, together with, or its subsidiaries and controlled affiliates.
 
An integral part of this process is the ongoing exchange of information between Us and you, including Personal Data. Please ensure that you fully understand this document, as it governs how we will collect and use the information you provide to us. In the event you download software from this Site or any of the mobile applications, the software, including any files, images incorporated in or generated by the software, and data accompanying the software (collectively, the “Software”) is licensed on a revocable, non-exclusive basis to you by Saudi Aramco. Saudi Aramco does not transfer title to the Software to you. You may own the medium on which the Software is recorded, but Saudi Aramco retains full and complete title to the Software, and all intellectual property rights therein. You may not redistribute, sell, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce the Software to a human-perceivable form.

Submission of Materials to Us
Please ensure you read and fully understand the below and the section titled Submission of Ideas Terms and Conditions, prior to sending anything to Saudi Aramco. Saudi Aramco actively sources ideas, concepts, designs, plans and prototypes to help turn them into commercial reality. On that journey we offer guidance, assistance, assist connecting entrepreneurs with industry players and manufacturers who, in conjunction with Us, can provide tangible help, mentoring and facilities to create and test prototypes, undertake commercial manufacturing. We may also connect you with potential customers. As part of this process, you will submit and share with Us, at different times various documents, materials and/or other information. Please ensure that you read, understand and follow this section and the terms and conditions for submitting ideas, so that you maximize the chance of your submission being selected for progression, and ensure that you don’t provide us with unnecessary or irrelevant information.
 
Submission of Personal Data through the Site
As part of your application it is likely that you will share with Us Personal Data belonging to you, such as your contact details, C.V., resume, work history. You could also share Personal Data belonging to others, such as that of your co-founders, inventors or the opinions of experts or third-parties who have reviewed or tested your idea, design or prototype and provided their views on it. Please ensure that you only share the absolute minimum personal data necessary to support of your application. Please do not share with us: Personal or work references for yourself or your co-founders. Opinion and testimonials of individuals, unless you have their explicit consent to share their information to be processed in line with our Privacy Notice. Underlying data sets for your submission that contain Personal Data. This would include for example things like information on the users of your product, information and analytics on their usage patterns, outcomes of results etc., or how the product itself has performed for specific users, or new information or personal data generated about the users. In the event you have this type of information available to support your application, please let us know of their availability and we will discuss with you whether we need to have access to the data, or how we’d like you to transfer it to Us. This will ensure the personal data will remain safe, secure and lawfully used. In pursuit of that, we may discuss alternative channels to submitting or transferring information to Us outside of this Site.

Please note, we use the information available on the websites to cross check and validate any information provided to Us. This includes statements and claims made to us about your idea, product or technology, its history and development, including but not limited to any claimed endorsements, or results. We may use Social media platforms to promote TecShift, we will ask for your consent to confirm you’re comfortable for your image or video to appear in promotional materials. Applicable Law
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this service. Saudi Aramco reserves the right to bring proceedings to the courts of the country of your location. In the event that any or any part of the terms contained in these terms and conditions shall be determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term shall to that extent be severed from the remaining terms which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 
 
Wavier and Severability
No waiver by Saudi Aramco of any term or condition set out in these Terms & Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of Saudi Aramco to assert a right or provision under these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
     Qualifications for review
You agree to Idea Submission Terms & Conditions. 
 
Examples of ideas and suggestions that will not be considered are:
1. Product names, slogans or logos
2. Business methods or ways of conducting our business.
 
 
Non-confidentiality
While we will not disclose your idea to the public or sell it to a third party, we cannot guarantee confidentiality. Your idea will be shared to the relevant people at Saudi Aramco for evaluation. We do not wish to make your idea public, but there are a large number of specialists that may review the idea, and it may be discussed with individuals outside of Saudi Aramco. You are free to submit your idea to other companies without informing us, however, we request that you do not disclose that Saudi Aramco is considering your idea. If we are interested in pursuing your project, we may be able to discuss additional confidentiality terms.
 
Similar ideas developed by Saudi Aramco
Like other companies who design, develop and manufacture products and services, we employ a substantial number of engineers and researchers who are constantly working to improve our existing products and services and to develop new products and services for our customers. You therefore acknowledge and agree that it is possible that an idea similar to yours has already been or is already being considered by Saudi Aramco and may already be in development. We reserve the right to develop such ideas independently of your submitted idea, or request or receive information about such ideas from third parties.
 
 
Opting Out
If at any point you would like to opt-out of the portal, delete your information, and withdraw your submission, you can contact us at tecShift@aramco.com 
 
 
Saudi Aramco’s Obligations
 Saudi Aramco agrees to review your idea when properly submitted via the submission portal. We have no obligation to use your idea. In return for your acceptance of the Idea Submission Terms & Conditions, Saudi Aramco offers a non-confidential, preliminary evaluation of your submitted materials. Following the preliminary evaluation, if we are interested in pursuing your project, you will be notified per our process. At that time, we may be able to discuss additional terms.
 
 
Consulting
Saudi Aramco does not act in a consulting capacity. We are not obligated to provide you with an explanation for any decision TecShift reaches. This applies to the original disclosure as well as to anything you later disclose, orally or in writing. We assume no obligation to tell you something we already knew or have discovered since you submitted your idea.
 
 
Ownership
Your submission and its contents will not become the property of Saudi Aramco. You must own the idea you are submitting, you cannot submit the idea of another person or party. The idea must be the original creation of the individual who submits the idea application form and the submitter must have the exclusive right to submit the idea. Further, the signor must have the legal right to negotiate the idea with us and the power and authority to grant any and all rights in the material. This does not mean that you are granting any rights under a patent, which you already have or may obtain in the future, during this preliminary review. For the purpose of evaluating the submission, you grant us a license to use, copy, store, distribute, review, assess, test, and otherwise analyze your submission and all its content. Often, employers will require an employee to sign an employment contract. Some conditions of this contract may be that employer will own ideas related to their business. Please determine whether your employer owns the idea prior to your submission. Saudi Aramco does not wish to receive ideas that are in violation of an agreement or understanding with another party, such as your current or former employer.

You must be at least 18 years old.
 
 
Idea Submission Terms and Conditions
1. I understand and agree to be bound to the following terms and conditions when I submit my idea to Saudi Aramco or its affiliates or subsidiaries (herein collectively referred to as "Aramco").
2. I agree to follow the "Idea Submission Rules", above.
3. I am at least 18 years old.
4. I am the owner of the idea I am submitting to Aramco.
5. The information I am submitting to Aramco is true and correct.
6. I am not violating any agreement or understanding I have with another party, including my current or former employer.
7. I am aware that under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and most foreign countries, I may be able to protect my idea through application for patents, trademarks, copyrights or maintain my idea as a trade secret by protecting it from non-confidential disclosure.
8. Aramco is under no obligation to use my idea or to hold it in confidence.
9. I will not be compensated for ideas developed by Aramco independent of the idea I submit to Aramco.
10. I am only including ONE IDEA PER SUBMISSION
